Modeling Electromagnetic Navigation Systems

Remote magnetic navigation is used for the manipulation of untethered micro and nanorobots, as well tethered surgical tools minimally invasive medicine. Mathematical modeling fields generated by systems a fundamental task in control such biomedical applications. In this article, we describe compare several existing newly developed methods representations continuous using interpolation context remote navigation. Clinical-scale electromagnetic feature nonlinear magnetization interactions between electromagnets, which renders accurate field challenging. We first introduce method that can adapt linear models to correct magnetization, with similar performance current state-of-the-art model. Furthermore, present based on convolutional neural networks.
